Yes, recommended after approx 100 hours of viewing.

It would not hurt to have a TV professional calibrate the TV, however the picture is so good out of the box I didn't feel the need to pay to have it done. A few simple personal tweaks ( reduce the brightness for night viewing ) etc is all we did . The picture is amazing. We bought the 75" 950 series and returned it the same day because we could never get the picture right. The OLED is so much better and worth the money.
