“Is the frame for this tv able to support itself on its bottom side in terms of weight if it’s not mounted just sitting on its own frame standing up and prevented from tipping over without any feet attached ? I have a stand that is set up n this way.”

I would not recommend just letting it rest on the frame. The tv weighs 100lbs. You don’t want to risk cracking the screen just to not use the legs that come with it or wall mounting it.

The feet on the TVs are specialized to carry the weight of the TV internals so that no future damage will come to the external shell of the unit. I hope this helps! - Romeo
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The TV can support itself, however, the trick is can the stand support it. It needs to be wide and deep and it needs to be able to handle in excess of 100 pounds.
