“Why is the description saying burst rate as 5 fps when Sony website says 10 fps.. Is this an older generation or something?”

• I think 5 fps for mechanical shutter and 10 for electrical shutter

• I bought A7RIII a couple months ago, and yes, it is 10fps, however, in the menu setting it has Low, Mid, Hi and Hi+. I tested it and I got 10 fps in Hi+ mode. It has some restrictions though.
