It depends on what you want. I currently have a Sony rx100 24-200 zoom. And I would all day use my A7iii with 70-200 if I didn’t need compact. I love my RX but a7 all day.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This is a prime lens. It does not zoom. The RX 100 is a small camera that can fit in your pocket. The RX 100, now in its 7th generation has a one inch sensor. This is about a third of the size of a full frame sensor that this and other E mount lenses are intended for. I have a Sony RX 100 5th generation camera. It is handy when you don't want to carry much equipment. There is no comparison as to picture quality, resolution, low light capabilities, bokeh, or sharpness. Top Prime lenses outperform zoom lenses at each focal length. On the other hand, you can buy an RX 100 for less than the cost of Sony's top of the line prime lenses before you even pay for a camera body.
