“Where is the SD card slot? I have an older Sony that was donated to our church and i really dislike the location of the SD slot....on the bottom, so I have to dismantle the teleprompter set up to simply get the card out.”

It is located on the bottom in the same compartment as the battery but when I used a tripod I could still access it no problem!
