Hi Keanu, thanks for your question! To connect both a Bravia Theater Bar 8 (soundbar) and an eARC-compatible Blu-ray player to a Sony K-65XR80 TV that only has a single HDMI eARC/ARC port, consider the following: The TV’s HDMI eARC/ARC port is designed primarily for connecting audio devices like soundbars or AV receivers, enabling both audio return from the TV and playback of high-quality audio from other connected HDMI sources. Unfortunately, you cannot connect both the soundbar and Blu-ray player directly to the TV's single eARC/ARC HDMI port simultaneously. Instead, consider using the following method: HDMI Audio Passthrough (Recommended) Connect the Bravia Theater Bar 8’s HDMI OUT (eARC/ARC) port to the TV’s HDMI input labeled eARC/ARC. Connect the Blu-ray player to the HDMI IN port on the soundbar. How it works: The Blu-ray player sends both audio and video to the soundbar; the soundbar outputs video to the TV (via eARC/ARC port). This setup passes high-quality audio (up to Dolby Atmos) to the soundbar and video to the TV. Limitations: All devices in the chain must support appropriate HDMI standards (e.g., HDCP, high bandwidth for 4K/HDR), and some advanced video features (like 4K/120Hz gaming) may be affected depending on the HDMI passthrough capabilities of the soundbar. Thanks for considering Sony products! Best regards, Gus Sony Social Media Team
