A:AnswerFull power, meaning what.when selecting mode for cd or radio you get no response or sound. Stupid question but have you turned up volume or do you have ear plugs inserted. No good answer here other than the unit is defective.
A:AnswerMost likely. Though remember that you can't charge them in the unit, and rechargeable batteries have slightly less voltage, which might affect the device’s function. See if you can find rechargeables that have 1.5 volts instead of 1.25 volts.
A:AnswerYes it's portable and has battery backup. But the speaker quality is why I bought it. Using CD or radio or Bluetooth through my phone the speakers have a rich tember and noticable bass that blew me away!
A:AnswerHi,
I have owned this unit for two months and had zero issues playing cds. However, I did notice that for cds to play properly you need to gently seat the cd onto the rotation plate until to hear a faint click and the cd locks into position. This prevents the cd from spinning at a different rate than the rotation plate. I previously owned a Bose player that had a a push pad on the bottom of the cd cover plate which performed the seating function when you closed the cover. Sony doesn’t have that automatic seating option so you need to gently push the cd onto the rotation plate. Hope this helps…..
A:AnswerNo, this boom box as sophisticated as it maybe is versatile in many ways but is ideal for a small office, personal pleasure and also is a carry out since it accepts batteries . If you have a old car radio without Bluetooth this unit can be carried in your car and you can connect your smartphone via Bluetooth to boombox and listen to Spotify or Pandora.
