• A:Answer It only records (rips) CD to USB as MP3 digital files. It only plays CD (no recording to CD), but can play CD-R/CD-RW that are either audio CD (CD-DA) format, or data formatted properly with MP3 or WMA files (if CD recording was finalized). Unfortunately, no support to record audio from radio -- just listen live.
