• A:Answer I haven't tried doing this, but the instructions say, "You can transfer a whole disc (CD SYNC transfer) or the currently playing track or file (REC1 transfer) to a USB device (digital music player or USB storage media, etc.)." They give instructions on how to to that. The instructions say that when transferring from a CD the tracks are transferred as MP3 files with a sampling frequency of 44.1 khz at 128 kbps (CBR), and when transferring from an MP3/WMA disc, MP3/WMA files are transferred with the same bit rate as the original MP3/WMA files. I hope this helps.

The unit has USB ports, and digital tuning, and a CD player, and the sound is great from such a small unit. I totally love it in my home office!
