Since the MEXBT3100P model came out earlier than the Nexus 7, we cannot guarantee full compatibility and functionality over bluetooth, since it was not really tested during the design stage of the Sony unit. Though it is possible that it may work, since other Google Nexus models ( Nexus One, Nexus S) have been deemed compatible with certain bluetooth functionalities.
