Why is this item called fx30b instead of fx30? null

I just received mine and it’s because of the packing, the one with the mic doesn’t have the “b”

I believe the fx30b is just the base camera where as the fx30 has the XLR handle

it is called the sony Fx30B because the "B" stands for Base model. the fx30A stands for the xlr audio handle.

FX30 b is base model. No handle.

because it's black in color of the body of camera
