• I've taken some at concerts and so far the quality seems to be very good. I'd think it would be great for pet photos.

• I am having great success photographing my dog, as well as birds at the feeder. The viewfinder helps with framing & taking photos in a variety of lighting conditions. It's also fast enough that I don't just get a blur of black fur if I take a picture of my dig when she is moving. Quite happy so far!
