Does this fit the Sony a5000? null

This product is compatible with Sony A37, Sony A57, Sony A58, Sony A65, Sony a77/a77 II models only.

Hi Lou! The Sony DT 55-300mm (DT 55-300mm) is an A-mount type of lens while the Sony a5000 is an E-mount type camera. The lens will not fit in. However, you may use the Sony A mount to E mount lens adaptor: LA-EA4 or LA-EA3 to make it work. Hope this helps. -Anthony
