What does the 2X mean? null

The speed of the recording time is 2x. Older models of DVR's were recording at 1x-2x. Newer models are recording at higher speeds 1x-16x. Iv'e had a DVR for several years and learned from experience and mistakes, you will too. READ THE OWNER'S MANUAL . Even pictures help Have fun
