• Notes from the manufacturer states stereo only compatible with the current model, XB13.

• Hi Dodgerdogg900, thanks for reaching out with your question about XB13. Also, thank you for purchasing the XB12!! Unfortunately, you cannot pair this speaker to the previous model. You can only pair two XB13 speakers (or two XB12s) together using the Stereo Pair function.
