Hi Katie, Yes, when you're done listening to music, the swiveling ear cups can be folded flat for enhanced portability. -Jerome

The earpieces rotate to make them lay flat, but in my opinion they take up more space than the other brands. They're still the best sounding quality headphone out there though.
