They've been dropped once or twice, have been loose in my backpack a few times, ran with them in light rain, etc. and still work great. I do try and keep them in the box they came in to protect them, but on the occasions I've mentioned about they have not broken

A:AnswerYes that would be fine, they come with cord to make them wired. Only thing that changes is when you use them wired you can't use the bass boast feature on the headphones, they also aren't as load. But the change is subtle
A:AnswerShould have checked on your phone to see if anybody else had them on sale. That's what happened to me also. Just missed it by one day. Checked, and Amazon had it on sale for less yet. Best Buy will match if they see this.
