These will work with any bluetooth enable device basically. I've used them on my iPhone, iPad, and computer. The mic also works for making calls through the internet which I found pretty cool and useful.

I've paired them to an iPad Air iPad mini 2 and an Xperia tablet. They all worked great so it should work with the iPad mini 3. The only real difference between the iPad mini 2 and the 3 is that the 3 has Touch ID so it should work just fine for you.
