Does this work with the Sony a6400? null

I used this with the 6300 so I assume it will work with the 6400...Read the specs on the Sony website to be 100% sure of the features that might work and may not.

Yes it will work, it’s a full frame lens and you will get a 1.5x crop factor. This lens will give you almost a 112mm to 300mm range in f2.8. Lens is heavy and in order to avoid damage to your camera mount, always always carry the camera with heavy lenses like this one here by the lens rather than carrying by the camera body.
