Clever marketing if not because many of these prosumer cameras say "flash memory camcorder" but don't specify the quantity of flash memory. for example Canon's Vixia HF G20 specifies that there is 32GB of flash memory, where as the Sony AX33 does not. The buyer assumes that when it says flash memory that memory comes installed within the body of the camera.”

No. You must use your own memory card. If you are going to record 4K video, you must have an SDXC UHS1 (Speed 3) card. With a 128 GB card, I can record about 5 1/2 hours of video in 4K resolution. Keep in mind that the camera also records an HD file (1920 x 1080 pixels) along with the 4K file (3840 s 2160 pixels). I haven't tried to find out if this second file can be defeated, as I like having it as a backup and to use it for trial editing.
