How long can this camera continuously record?   (2 Answers)

          Answer

I used the camera continuously for about 2 1/2 hours. The video files contain 30 minutes of recording. So, I ended up with 5 files. I have not edited them together yet, so I don't have that experience. But, there was no interruption on the camera itself, it just kept on going. I suspect that it will record until the card fills up or the battery quits. BTW: at the end of the session, at 2 and half hours, the battery was only down about 40%.

I can't find this answer. So, with the Flash Memory 32gb camera I have to replace, a Canon only 5 years old that has died, the camera records to the built in memory, then will continue to record to an SD memory card seemlessly. Does this camera do this?   (0 Answers)

Hi Dennis! You can record Dolby Digital 5.1ch surround sound with the built-in microphone (default setting). Realistic sound can be enjoyed when playing a movie on devices that support 5.1ch surround sound input. -Anthony
