• Simple answer is yes. Using PlayMemories Mobile app as the view finder, you can record just fine, but you can't see the real time reordong. You have to transfer files to play the video as far as I know.

• Hi Charles, if you mean to use the camera for USB streaming, then yes, you can do this via UStream. And if you mean to use the computer as a power supply, turn the USB Power Supply on before connecting it to the computer. Thanks_Mitch
