- Answer Hi, no, this model doesn't have a pause button. You can only start/stop a movie when you press the REC button. If you wan to combine multiple clips, we recommend using PlayMemories Home. Thanks_Mitch

- Answer Hi Dan, yes the camera is equipped with NFC and Wifi for wireless remote and transfer. You can't set up an external wireless microphone as the unit does not have a shoe or mic jack. Thanks_Mitch

- Answer I believe that the answer given about not being able to remotely control via the WiFi app is very much wrong. Here is a link on the Sony website that explains how to connect and control the CX440. http://support.d-imaging.sony.co.jp/www/cscs/pmm/page1.php?area=gb&lang=en&mdl=HDR-CX440 This page says that shooting modes and zoom can be remotely controlled. I do believe that the answer about the LCD door having to be open is correct. However, if remotely operating and you do not want the door sticking out, you can flip the LCD over and close the LCD door (so the LCD is on the outside when closed). This way the camera will stay on and the door does not have to be sticking out.

QuestionMy camera says battery level low exchange battery. Does the battery need to charge on its own or just attaching the USB to the camera will the battery charge with it? Or do I need to purchase a separate battery charger on the side?
