“I must be missing something. I have the Sony GTK XB90 and I'm playing music through Bluetooth. Yet whether I activate the "extra bass" or not the sound is still the exact same with very little bass. Extremely brutal for a $500 speaker. Ideas?”

You have an customizable eq in the app. I tried it and found the bass was still missing. I ended up adding a subwoofer for my own personal use. I only kept it because my wife liked it for backyard use. Otherwise return it and wait till it’s on sale for $300 for a better deal. Good luck
