15’ shouldn’t be too far. I had problems with the subwoofer and rear speakers cutting out. BB and Sony said it was due to interference in the radio frequency. I had to do a reset of the system a couple time before establishing a good connection but eventually it worked and my sub/speakers aren’t cutting out any more. Call Sony, go to BB and ask someone, or Google for instructions on how to reset the system.
