I sit about 8 feet away from the sub and main bar, then about 2 feet away from the rear speakers behind me. I set the voice at 1, then I set the decibel levels of the rears to 2. The front I have set to 3. For my setup and ears, this gives me the best balance. I use it primarily for gaming and movies as a secondary.
