Not 100% certain, but to the best of my knowledge, you should be ok. You will need to remove the harness from your old receiver and attach it to your new one, plug it in, and go. You may need to buy a face kit, just depends on the vehicle you own. Hope this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Depends how old. Sony still uses the same style connector but the shape changed a few years back. If your radio is more than ten years old, you probably don’t have the newer style plug and will have to change it out. Judging by the picture, I think yours probably has the older style. The connections are all the same, so it’s an easy change - grab some splices and crimpers and move the orange of the old plug to the orange of the new plug, red of the old plug to red of the new plug, etc. Easy swap.

Because of the number of variables encountered with different makes and models of automobiles, Sony is unable to assist with the installation of car stereo and mobile audio systems. However, if you are using a wiring harness, further information about the wire color and function of each pin on the wiring harness is available in this link https://www.sony.com/electronics/support/mobile-cd-players-digital-media-players-dsx-series/dsx-a415bt/articles/00028631. We recommend contacting a professional installer to determine its compatibility and operation. Thank you!- Romeo
