“A tab modified FH battery will fit an FV Camera, but is it electrically compatable with a HDR PJ790 camera? I have several NP FH70 batteries from an older Sony HC7 camera. My newer camera has a NPFV 70 battery. I can see that a simple tab modification will allow the FH battery to fit, the pin connections look identical. I understand that this is probably not a preferred option, but is there any electrical reason with operation of the Sony PJ790 camera, why this cannot be done? This will allow use of several Sony NPFH batteries that I already have.”
