“compatibility of battery and charger I have a DSLR camera that uses a NP-FH50 battery (with xtra battery ) and a camcorder that uses a NP-FH40 battery I lost the charger and battery for the Np-FH50. Can I charge the 50 on the camcorder and use the 40 on the dslr ? thanks”

The BC-TRV Travel Charger will Charge most Sony V series, P series or H series batteries. as for the second part of your question: which battery can be used for which product depends on the product itself and since this is posted on a battery page, we do not know what cameras you are using ,. please contact us (the manufacturer) directly for battery compatibility questions on your older cameras. also to avoid confusion since you are posting your question on the page of a NP-FV50 series battery - Products that were Designed for NP-FH50 series battery can use the NP-FV50 series battery as a replacement battery.
