“Is it possible to NOT utilize the extra bass on these? I purchased for my mom & didn't realize they had extra bass until I received them & it said it really big on the front of the box. I hope I don't have to return but mom is not an extra bass person!”

If you don't turn on the extra bass feature she should not notice any difference from an earbud product that does not have this feature.
