- Answer Hi naveen, no, it won't. The camera doesn't have a built in IR receiver. We would suggest using a wired remote like the RMVPR1, or using the RMTVP1K remote with IR kit which you can connect to the multi interface shoe of the camera. Thanks_Mitch
