• They can be used for that purpose if you have a device to plug into or the tv itself if you have an extension cord. It will also work with the ROKU remote devise.

• Yes you can plug them into the TV. May need an adapter depending on the type of plug needed for your TV - Best Buy would have that. Wires from plug to headphones is only 47" long. Best Buy may also have an extension.
