“Can scrolling thru list of albums jump over groups of letters? I have a large number of albums I want to download. When scrolling for a particular one (e.g., "Webern") must I proceed item by item from A, or is it possible to choose a group of letters (e.g. A-E, F-I, ... Y-Z)? to speed things up?”

I don't think so but you can get to the end of the alphabet quicker by scrolling backwards starting at "z". Also there are different categories for choosing what you want to listen to - like Artist, Genre, Release year etc. - that may help you get there quicker.
