Q: QuestionSony NWZ-E383 MP3 - Sony Dock SpeakerI was told that this MP3 player would work with the 'Sony Speaker Dock for Apple174 iPod174 iPhone174 and Most MP3 Players", when I ordered it. However, it appears to not be compatible. Is there a connection piece I would need. This was a christmas gift for my daughter, and we are very disappointed that we might have been given false information.

• A:Answer Hello dave, thank you for your message. You can reset your Walkman to the default settings. Resetting the Walkman will not delete data such as music, video, and photos. / 1. From the Home menu, select [Settings] [Common Settings] [Reset all Settings] [Yes]. [Restored factory settings.] appears. -Oscar.

This unit comes with 2 type of timers only, you can set the timer to play back songs at a specified time which will be the ALARM option or you can also set the period of time after which your Walkman automatically enters standby mode and the screen turns off which will be SLEEP TIMER. ~ Jeannette

Q: QuestionVocals dropped out. Walkman MP3 4mbFor the first month everything sounded great. Now the midrange is so quiet is is almost gone and there are virtually no vocals. The music is no good. I restored the factory defaults. What can I do?
