Q: QuestionI want nothing to do with Apple or Itunes. Will this work without using Apple or Itunes?

Q: Questioncan i transfer my old CD's onto this player?I still have CD's i like to listen to and i would like to rip them to windows media player and sync them to this player. Can i do that with this player?

Q: QuestionDoes it have a shuffle command.I might load 1000 songs with 600 of them being on playlists. Can I shuffle them so that I'm going to hear different songs all the time. I expect that if I pick a playlist, that I'll be hearing that whole playlist.

Q: QuestionCan you download play lists from MS Media player without converting to different types of files?I bought a new Sandisk which is a nightmare downloading playlists. You either have to be a computer geek or a capable 10 year old, which I am neither. The old Sandisk was simple, but their engineers must be real comedians because it isn't easy any more! If you can download playlists on a Sony without the pain of the new Sandisk, you guys have a new customer. Thanks...

• A:Answer I didn't know it could. I just use it for storing pictures, songs and videos I like. You can listen to radio on it didn't know you could record the radio on it and don't think you can.

Q: Questionhow many cd's will 8gb hold?

• A:Answer with the mp3 compression, it will hold a bunch, probably more than the amount of cd's you have. I think I have about 30 on mine and it's no where close to being full. I did a little math several years ago and it seems to me that I came up with something around 90-100.
