• Yes but I recommend a splitter so you can monitor audio

• Hi! It will not work when plugged into a headphone jack. The Sony ECMCS3 clip mic uses 3.5 mm jack with a plug-in power supply system. If the mic jack of your device supports 3.5 mm jack and plug-in power supply system, then it will work properly. -Anthony
