Q: QuestionWe don't game as much as we used to but enough that if this properly turns your tv into a smart tv or plays the part of Roku or Apple TV just as well as they do then it would be. Is it just as good for pure tv as roku,apple, etc.. or just tv go roku?

• A:Answer This is a great stand alone device with numerous functions. It has the ability to use Hulu, Netflix, Amazon, and more. If you want the ability to play games, and stream content, this will get the job done. However, I am NOT sure if you need a PS Plus subscription to steam. The reason is, we bought the service with our console and applied it first before trying Netflix. There is PS Vue which is a TV service of sorts, but I have not done the trial or subscribed. From what I heard, it does provide a fair amount of TV service.
