QuestionHow big is the HDD and when can I buy one?
Asked 4 years ago by GodricRG.
- Answer External HDDs and external SSDs are compatible with PS5, but you can only play PS4 games from them. PS5 software is designed to run from the console's ultra-fast custom SSD, so PS5 games cannot be played while stored on external devices. The HDD that comes with the console is 825gb. You can get a Samsung 2tb for $200

QuestionIf PlayStation fives are not available online can they be pre-ordered. I’ve been waiting for over a year to order one because the retail store says they never get any in stock. Help me out here. There has to be a way to order one at some point.
Asked 4 years ago by PanamaRed.
- Answer Preordering doesn’t look to be a thing Best Buy offers. Try using restock apps like Restockify or discord restock servers. Often drops will happen Thursdays or Fridays but other days happen too, and those apps and servers will notify you as soon as they happen.

QuestionWhen is the restock for ps5?
Asked 4 years ago by Jesus.
- Answer Everyone is trying to find a PS5. The best thing to do is download the app "HotStock" this app will notify you when stores have stock of the PS5. When you download it and set your preferences, purchase the premium front of the line option. This (as stated above) gets you notified before the non paid users. I had premium for 2 days before getting a notification. Make sure you have auto login for the stores you're looking for (walmart, target, bestbuy etc.) that way when you get the alert, it will take you straight to that product, and the store and all you have to do is login, add and buy. It was that easy. Good Luck.

QuestionIf I reserve a ps5 with my total tech membership, how long do I have to pick it up?
Asked 4 years ago by PrfsrX.
- Answer I don't think they can reserve PS5's, but I got lucky when they had a few in stock for exclusive member Monday sale, best bet is to wait for another restock and order one right away, it will show sunday night for the following monday. I stayed up all night to order one. As for wait time, it took me 3 weeks after purchase to get my order shipped in. and they will hold your order at the store for a week maybe longer with total tech but you can always extend. Hope that helps and good luck!

QuestionIt is ridiculous that a year into the release prices are still double the selling price. Why can't we start a list to wait in line to buy the console? This would certainly make me a more loyal customer.

QuestionDo u know when are u going to have more PlayStation 5 at the store or online
Asked 5 years ago by Sease356.
- Answer Hello, your best bet is to download the app HotStock. Set it to notify you for ps5 drops. You must be quick about it tho when they drop they'll sell out around 15 min. It'd good to have a best buy account setup before going to purchase. Using pay pal can be quicker as well if you do not have your credit card info saved. They likely won't have any on shelf ps5 for sale for a long time. Do to high demand and other reasons. You can follow Matt swider on Twitter. He knows when drops will be as well. Turn notifications on for his posts. Goodluck!

QuestionWhen will you be in stock again for ps5?
Asked 5 years ago by Derrick.
- Answer Hey if you really want to grab a PS5 follow Matt Swider on Twitter. I was able to grab a digital on Playstation Direct for myself and then a few weeks ago a Disc Console for a co-worker for his son. You have to exhaust all your options but so far Matt has been consistent about what stores are dropping and when. I hope this helps and you score a PS5 soon. And Believe me I was trying since before Xmas and finally got lucky, I guess some people started giving up or there are not as many bots as there were before snatching them up. Don't buy the mark-up price from sellers stay the course and you will grab one.

QuestionWhen will it be in stock
Asked 5 years ago by Nick.
- Answer Hi nick. I also used to have this question. If youre having a hard time purchasing this, trust me, youre gonna wanna listen. Get twitter if you dont have it and if you do great. Go right now and follow MattSwider and ChitoGamingYt. They send out immediate notifications as soon as stock is available at any store. You still have to be quick because each of these stock releases last about 2-3 minutes. I would advice using the apps for stores that supply these like the target, walmart, and bestbuy apps. If you already have your card loaded in the app the transaction will be a whole lot faster. And dont give up adding it to cart. Be patient and quick. I hope this helped. Good luck
