Its a hard copy card and can not be sent via email.

Not sure if you are asking someone to give you a code. But if you are asking if you could receive a code via email after purchase, no. It's a physical card that best buy sends. They don't know the code.

Yes if you have your email dress tied to your best buy account it can be sent to you email

No they can't due to the code can only be activated once and if anything goes wrong and someone else gets that code you are out of luck. It's a method on protecting you and them as a company.

doesn't look like bestbuy can, had to pick up the card in store.

I just picked up at Bestbuy store. I do not think they can send code for this one.
