This is false! At Sony E3 conference they showed a bunch of new VR games coming 2017 like Skyrim VR, Super Hot, and a lot of other ones. Just YouTube or google search for the full list. They are excited for the future of vr. Hope this helps!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. That's not necessarily in the realm of the "unlikely" and that rumor could hold some validity. VR is a "niche" technology at the moment and hasn't really taken off in the marketplace with the masses. Even Units such as the Oculus Rift and HTC Vive aren't enjoying massive sales numbers and "flying off the shelves" despite recent price reductions. Sony's PSVR is the low-cost alternative to Oculus and Vive for folks interested in trying out VR, but at $399 it still makes potential buyers have to seriously think about investing that amount for an unproven peripheral. As for lack of new games for PSVR, only a couple of "AAA" titles have been announced or even rumored to be supporting the PSVR (Gran Turismo Sport and EA's next STAR WARS Battlefront game), But Capcom's "Resident Evil 7" has proven that a AAA quality game can be made that can be fully played in VR. I think there is hope though as E3 is approaching so hopefully there will be some good announcements for upcoming titles that will support the PSVR from major publishers. I personally own the unit and love it, but I do hope that the peripheral survives in the marketplace and that ultimately it gains more support from both Sony and more Game Publishers.
