• I was in the same boat until I called to verify my local BB was still out of stock as shown on their website. The customer service guy said they had several in stock and sure enough they were on sitting on the shelf. This will vary of course but after looking around online it seems to be a common occurrence for BB stores to show out of stock online but actually have them.

• I really don't know. I think I got one of the last ones that was available. If it is paired with the right VR game, it is wonderful. I do get a little tired of the weight and the tight fit of the headset. And I would prefer it to be wireless. The wired tether gets in the way sometimes.
