The Playstation Neo (or PS 4.5 as it is occasionally called) has not been officially announced by Sony. While the rumors are strong rumors, they are still just that. Until Sony announces the mid-gen refresh console it does not actually exist and retail outlets cannot act otherwise. Even when it is announced, the rumors have been that you will not have to have the updated console in order for PSVR to function. It will work with the standard Playstation 4 model. Again, I can't emphasize enough that what I just said is based on unconfirmed rumors. We should get some information about the Neo, if it exists, at E3 in June.
