No it does not come with a cord that can be plugged in. There is no place you could plug a cord in on the radio. Also it does not have a sleep button.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.This radio is pretty much the same as if you had bought it fifty years ago - no frills. Analog tuning, no sleep button, and no AC adapter. It does what it's meant to do. A set of two AA batteries will last me two months using the radio about 25 hours per week, so battery life/expense is not much of an issue. Radio Shack no longer carries their version. A far as I know this Sony and a couple of other brands are the last non-digital pocket radios available. People under about 40 don't know what it is.
