“How well does the radio hold onto a station setting? I see the stations are set by a wheel, rather than digitally, and no preset, which makes me ask this. I would carry it my fanny pack as I bicycle. Will it easily slide off station?”

We're not having any problem with 'holding onto a station,' but...without the antenna extended the reception is weak. Don't think the bike bag idea will work.

I think it will hold the station. I know what you mean because I purchased a lesser brand and it kept sliding off the channel. So far I haven’t had any issues with my Sony.

do not think that would happen in the situation you describe. we find the station is easy to find but not all are as clear as other indoors.

This radio has a long expandable antenna that really brings in stations. I will even go as far as claiming that this radio gets better reception than my SUV.
