For the size and the price it sounds great, however it is so small don't expect to have a party or dance off, it more for background music or personal listening. It also works great for watching a movie on your laptop or tablet. If is great if you live in a condo or apartment and you don't want to get a letter from the HOA or management company for volume.

I haven't noticed any distortion at max volume. If you are planning on using it in a semi-loud environment such as an outdoor party, you should be fine.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I haven't turned it up to it's full volume yet I guess. I feel that the loudness is good and it doesn't distort at the volumes I've had it on. I have used it in my kitchen wich is fairly large and opens up to a large great room. The sound was loud enough for me while other family members were in the greatroom watching tv. I could hear the tv form the other room, but I had the speaker up loud enough that the sound from that was filling the space I was in.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It depends on the music that's playing. Most of my music is fine all the way up, but certain songs seem to have more distortion. I don't think it's the speaker as much as sometimes it is the music.
