Hi this is a subscription to Sony's Playstation online service. Please be aware support is limited for PS3's. The service provideds online access to play games, auto updates and storage online of game saves, and there are monthly deals and free games available (note they are only free as long as you have the service). For PS3 you can access online games without PS+, there a few if any PS3 games available for free monthly. You can search online for what free games are available to get an idea of what is being offered each month. Good luck
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I feel like I need to expand the other answers. It was recently announced that as of March 2019, PS3 and PS Vita will not be supported and there will be no more free games for those systems available.
