“Can this headset be used while it is charging? I have the first version PS Gold headset and during use when that battery dies I can just plug it in and continue using them. This has become an important feature as I use them for pc gaming and also work.”

Yes, they can be used while charging. I read this in several places but I was actually using the headset while it was plugged in and charging. So I can verify this. I got this for the PS4 Pro and although everything was awsome, the bass wasn't that great so I will be returning. I'll try again perhaps when I actually get a PS5 whenever that might be.
