A:AnswerHi, Kray!
The unit will store up to 39 hours and 45 mins if the audio recording quality is set to high, but if you set the audio quality to the lowest option, it can record up to 159 hours. And, yes. it is possible to record separate files. Hope this helps! Regards, Sam

A:AnswerI recorded a 6 hour class that had 2 split lectures and also a lab 2x per week and so far I have all my recordings still on the device but also on my laptop just in case.
A:AnswerI do not see any reason it would not. I have used it for 6 hours 2x per week and no issues. Only issue I can think of is the batteries,,,if they last the recording should work but that would be a HUGE recording.....BTW: I have used it one other time and recorded 10 hours somewhere else....
A:AnswerSorry, but I have not used it yet. I bought it to take the place of a tape recorder & it is still sitting in the original container. If the Best Buy Techs cannot answer the question I suggest you phone the customer service at Sony.
A:AnswerI haven’t checked the distance yet. But what I can tell you is that I get excellent recording from it I use interview mode. There is a different modes for different situations. But I’m able to record crisp clean interviews with the mic in my front shirt pocket.
