Most likely yes. It will depend on where you are receiving your sound input for your headphones. In my case, I connected to my cable box. So the tv sound control continues thru the tv. I can mute the tv sound and still have sound thru my headphones.

Yes. You can set the volume on the TV to any level so that others in the room can hear it or not hear anything while someone else is wearing the headset. The volume on the headset is independently set.

Hi Rick, It will depend on the specifications of the TV. Some TVs allow sound to output from the headphones and TV speakers at the same time. ~Ralph
