“I bought these headphones and have an Insignia Tv purchased in 2010. The sound is running thru my surround sound and cannot get anytging outbof the headphones. Help!!!”

I have a Sony TV, have the headphones plugged into headphone jack, and have sound simultaneously through the headphone and TV speakers. With the Sony TV you have audio settings in the TV setup for headphones and TV speakers, you can set for both to be active
